'Back in the USSR,' written by Paul McCartney in about 1968, has always been one of my favorites. It's one of the few truly funny pop songs, and still makes me laugh even now. Actually I find it even funnier now as I get the jokes. Even though the song lampoons the Soviet Union, a lot conservatives missed the joke, and the song managed to upset both extremes of the political spectrum.
